SUPPORT DURING DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION
The sooner that the future operator of the building is involved in its design and construction, the better knowledge of the building and its assets will have.
The FM can discretely support the designers and construction teams, assisting to their meetings and helping resolve any questions or including in the agenda of the construction process, those aspects related to the future maintenance. The FM will inherit the outcome of the design and construction process, and so, it is convenient that the FM knows all details of the building from inception.
The construction phase ends with the hand over and commissioning. If the FM is involved from inception, this process will be more reliable, smoother and most likely, any inconvenience are solved in time, saving time, effort and costs.
Tackling potential issues in time, will either save time and costs as well as secure the optimal operation of all assets.
